Kenny hit Nashville like a wrecking ball for the start of his Big Revival Tour. For opening night, he played over three and a half hours performing songs from across his career, including five songs from his brand new release, The Big Revival and featuring special guests and good friends Taylor Swift, Grace Potter, Uncle Kracker, David Lee Murphy and Joe Walsh.

The 36 song set found the audience highly engaged: singing along almost louder than the band could play, raising so many lighters during Anything But Mine they drowned the lights in their glow. Equally rapturous was the media in attendance for the sold out show that kicked off 2015s summer-long The Big Revival Tour.

USA Today set the scene, writing, Outside Bridgestone Arena was cold and drizzling Thursday night. Inside, it might as well have been a beach party, as Kenny Chesney kicked off The Big Revival Tour and Rolling Stone added, Fired up and sold out. The Nashville show was a packed house with tickets selling so fast that the country superstar decided to add a second night.

Local daily The Tennessean praised Kenny for keeping the hits coming and the audience enthused. Country Weekly and AllAccess.com both raved about Kenny's performance and his ability to rock the stage like he never left.

I learned a long ago, you never know what the critics will think, Kenny said. So I do my show for the fans, send em home happy, give them a few hours where the only thing they think about is the good stuff, give em the best night theyll have all year and know thats my bottom line. But I have to say, when the reviewers like it, too, thats the best feeling of all."
